Well, since my last post a few things have happened:
1) I've paid off my credit card! Now I can actually pay off my credit card each month. Since I have more money per paycheck, I've been using my debit to purchase things instead of my credit card!
2) My wonderful boyfriend of 4 plus years propose to me on October 23! While we have been talking about marriage for awhile now, he picked a completely random moment to surprise me with a custom made ring. I will post pictures once I take one where the ring looks platinum and not gold!
3) Work has been crazy busy and stressful . .but I'm looking forward to Thanksgiving where I can spend a day of eating and sleeping at my parents. . . oh and working on a new CD for Marcin (my fiancee).
So what are my current obsessions:
1) Well, the wedding, of course. But not in the sense that it's been my life long dream to be married and such. Instead, it's more that I've been such a tomboy for so long, I do not know the first thing about what goes into a wedding. Lucky for me, A LOT of my friends have recently gotten married, so they have been great supporters and go-to people with advice. At the same, it is a bit overwhelming because I think that there are some aspects that are just a waste of money. So really the obsession is trying to get all these little details for as little as possible and that will not seem wasteful.
2) A large hobo/crossbody bag for work. I've started going to the gym at work. However, in order to get a decent size locker, you have to rent one! F*** that. Instead, i got a large satchel bag that fits what was in my work bag. I will bring my gym bag into my office, change in my office and then leave my big gym bag in the car and just take what i need in my large satchel. The thing is that I saw the perfect Large hobo (one strap) bag that can also be a crossbody which would be perfect. The problem: IT COSTS $285.00! Not only that . .but the leather is the cheap, if I get caught on anything I will scratch and tear, type of leather. I AM NOT paying $285.00 for that! If I can get a authentic Chanel bag for $40.00, I think I can find my dream workweek bad for MUCH less than that!
