However, before I can start, I need one key component - a digital camera.
How is this possible!? I'm a tech geek without any tech!!!
So my current obsession has been digital cameras. I'm hoping that with my tax refund, I can purchase one of the following camera:
1) My first choice is the Canon Powershot SX110 IS
($249.99)
($249.99)With a 10x optical zoom and a high ISO, this camera is awesome at taking action shots. I currently use this at my job and the pictures that I have taken have been so awesome, I forgot that I was the one that took them! It's my first choice because I was able to use one recently and played with it.
2) My second choice is the Nikon Coolpix L100 ($229.95). It has a 15x optical zoom and is a little bit more affordable than the Canon. Haven't seen it in the store, but it's on my list of things to do for the weekend!
3) My third option would be the Sony Cyber-shot® Digital Camera H20/B
Again, has similar features as the Canon and Nikon. Around the same price as the Canon ($249.99). I just haven't been able to see it in the store like the Nikon. So my mission for the next couple of weeks is as follows:
1) Window shop for cameras.
2) DO MY TAXES and see how much I am getting back.
3) Divide my tax refund into three (Savings, Wedding, and Camera).
4) Buy camera.
In the meantime, I think I will also plan a specific format for my blog's new direction. I will most likely have to change the About Me section. Stringing together a bunch of my favorite lyrics in order to describe me sounded good at the time, but it doesn't fit for what this direction is calling for.
So that is the plan. Wish me luck!

No to the coolpix - it's crappy *Caryn can't take a good pic with it... very blury at times** and no to Sony because I see them as Nazi's. I do like the Cannon, I have a digital elph and I love it. Cannon camera's have great shutter speed when it comes to capturing moving objects.
LOL! Yeah, that is why it's my #1 option because I use it at work and I have taken really great pictures. Our camera is finicky though, but i think it is because it's a refurbished one.
That's a pretty big camera to carry around though.
It's not too bad . .
lol, unless it's an slr cam you don't want a large camera... and this is why... you'll spend $275 carry it around for a week and then never use it again because it's not very convenient to carry. Trust me, I would spend $100 less an buy a compact camera - which most now a day no matter which brand, sony, fuji, cannon, panasonic etc. has the same performance of the above listed camera or even better. Plus you'll have extra money for some shoes or a purse. Just a voice of reason to consider.
