Snow Day Monday

This morning, I woke up to this lovely view outside:

Since I working for U of M Ann Arbor, and that campus N.E.V.E.R. closes, I still had to make it to work.  To prep myself for the tedious extension of my 30 minute drive, breakfast had to be quick and filling.

One Eggo waffle with Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter and a tall coffee!

My drive to work wasn't too bad, just sloooooow.  I seriously think I did 25 mph for the entire 20 miles of my commute.  It wasn't until I got to work that I realized that the awesome snacks/lunch that I packed for the day . . .was in the fridge at the house.

P.O.U.T.

Luckily, one of my coworkers made some homemade granola bars over the weekend and share a small piece with me for my mid morning snack.

She gave me a small sample because the bar had raisins in it . . and I'm not a fan of raisins.  I was still appreciative and ate the whole thing.

The rest of the morning was spent catching up on e-mails and prepping letters and getting a handle on my To Do list.  It's funny how the snow just makes you so frazzled.

I looked out of my window about an hour later and saw this!

By 8:30 am this morning, Ann Arbor already had 7 inches, and it has not been stopping since!

Since I had no lunch and my coworkers were also in the mood, we decided to get a pizza delivered to our office.  Enter in Pizza House Pizza:

We got a large pizza with bacon . . .not the most healthy choice, but it was the one topping that the three of us could agree on.

I had this (times 3).  But to be truthful, my last piece was half the size of this piece.

Now it's back to the work day . . .I think a cup of tea is in my near future.
