I love him so! So I did what any cook would do, stare at the fridge and randomly pulled some ingredients to create a delicious meal.
What did I pull out?
Green onions, baltic farmers cheese, tomato, and pasta
First up, cooked one cup of pasta. As the pasta cooked, I took same baltic farmers cheese and broke it up.
Then I heated up some green onions in extra virgin olive oil. After a bit more, I then added leftover pizza sauce.
While I was making this, Marcin took two salmon fillets, brushed them with oil, seasoned them with salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, and parmesan cheese. I had my fillet in for 13 minutes, Marcin baked his for 16 minutes.
Put it all together:
It was delicious!
Question of the night: When cooking something like fish or meat, do you and your significant other differ in the level of done-ness? For example, I think we both get medium-well burgers (with the occasional medium) and steak is always order medium. However, I like my salmon medium well and Marcin likes his well-done, so I had to request that my salmon be taken out earlier for this dinner. It was perfect for me, but Marcin thought that it was done enough.
Food for thought for this Saturday night.
