So we have finished painting the guest room! Starting tonight, I will be moving my clothes slowly into that closet and will hopefully be somewhat moved into the house by the end of the weekend. My big furniture will be moved in by the end of next week! GAH! Wow, did not realize that it was coming up until I just wrote it!
Anyways, while I haven't been posting my food diary for about week now, I shall update you on a few new developments:
On the healthy living front:
#1 - I've turned to the dark side.
Black coffee, that is. For awhile now, I feel like I'm not really enjoying a cup of coffee at all. I tried switching creamers. I tried switching to agave and milk or honey and milk. But for what ever reason, I felt like I was drinking coffee because I'm a "Coffee Drinker." However, on one random morning, I bought a Bold Starbucks brewed coffee and decided not to put cream or milk. Instead I just poured 3 packets of Sugar in the raw . . and what do you know, it was so flavorful! So for the past week and half, my coffee has ben black with two sugars or two table spoons of honey (also delicious).
#2 - I've been playing with our meals.
We have the "I'm am Spartacus Dinner" Parts One and Two.
Just recently, Marcin and I tried to healthy up a traditional BLT with cheese sandwhich
Tomato (obviously), some lettuce that Marcin picked up (I have no idea what type it is), Muenster cheese, Hummus, and turkey bacon, all on Arnold thins. Did you like it?
I think that face says it all!
#3 I've been catching some Vitamin D.
Don't worry, my moisturizer has SPF and I only stayed out in the sun for 15 minutes out of my lunch break!
#4 I've also been playing with my camera.
Playing around with the focus. . .these are my favorites so far.
On the fashion front:
Yeah, my purse obsession is on the rage. Ever since I found my dream October purse at Von Maur. I've been stalking the purse online almost daily. My birthday is coming up, so my sister asked what I wanted to do for our sister thing. I said "Me, You, COACH OUTLET!" I'm hoping to get some birthday money from the rents . . .Although, in all honesty, I should save it and put it towards the house or the wedding. Well technically the purse would be dubbed as my Wedding month purse, so in a way, that's putting money towards the wedding . . right? You can see my logic (or my warp sense of stretching the imagination!). *Sigh*
On the active living front:
Man, working on the house is tiring work! But I do feel that I get a workout in with lugging the paint cans around and ripping wallpaper and walking up and down the steps. Just two more rooms to go, but those rooms are not a top priority for me to move. I'm hoping that maybe I can squeeze some run/gym time soon. I think once all my clothes and bath stuff is there, then I can start to incorporate more exercise. I just need to get through this week. My students are graduating on Friday, we have our marriage class on Friday evening/Saturday, and then . . . dum . .dum. . . duuuuuuuum . . Parents are meeting on Sunday! GAH!

I was sooooo nervous when my dad met my future in-laws. I thought it was going to be the most awkward dinner ever :S
It turned out to be okay. My mother-in-law is really quiet but my father-in-law is quite outgoing. Plus he and my dad are both accountants, so they had some common ground.
@Samantha - Thank you for sharing! I'm hoping that our dinner has a good outcome like yours did!
