Hello World,
My name is Jessica and I have fallen off the Healthy Living Bandwagon. *Sigh* I did a terrible job this week of trying to maintain a healthy eating regimine while trying to start packing stuff at my apartment. I was attempting to follow Tina's (from Carrots'N'Cake) Eat It, Don't Move It plan, but instead of coming up with creative and healthy dishes with the items I currently have, I just spend WAY TOO much money on take out.*Sigh*
Thursday
Breakfast:
Two frozen waffles (I don't know what brand they are as Marcin bought them) with my Cream Cheese Substitue spread.
I stayed true to my coffee detox and had peppermint tea.
The tea was actually very good. I was trying to find peppermint green tea because it's better for your digestive system, but this is a good alternative.
Work went on as usual and it came time for lunch. Mind you I packed a breakfast but not a lunch (again!).
I decided to F.I.N.A.L.L.Y. try the Steamed Chicken and Mixed Vegetables from Lucky Kitchen.
It was everything that I hope that it would be add more! I ordered a side of General Tso's sauce, but i used it as more of a dipping sauce then drenching the food with it.
The rest of the work day went on without a hitch. I even got through a big meeting unscathed! I think it was because I went into the meeting overly prepared.
After work, I stopped by the house to pick up more boxes to move my stuff. I went home and started to destroy the place. I obviously did not take pictures out of embarassment! I now have a pile (or rather a big tub!) of stuff to take to the house today (Friday), a pile to donate to good will, and a pile to throw out. Hopefully I will be able to find time during the weekend to do all three. . . or at least the stuff to the house and the stuff to throw out!
My friend Zahra came over to help me. We stopped by a Coney Island to grab a L.A.T.E. dinner. I had a grilled chicken pita to which i devoured out of starvation before i could remember to take a picture!

I also fell off the Coffee Detox bandwagon! But due to a late night of talking and packing, I needed a pick me up! Enter Starbucks brew of the day - Komodo Dragon Blend. Holy Strong Coffee Batman! I needed it, but for the rest of the weekend . . .tea!
It's now 11:30 am I have only had coffee! I did bring snacks but it's cookies, and fig newton, and an orange . .that's not going to make for a filling lunch! I will think of something, and something healthy!
On the healthy living front:
Well, like I said, it's been a terrible week of eating. I will need to regroup. I decided to just spend one day to pack my apartment and plan my workouts and meals accordingly. Wish me luck, because I will need it!

I finally got the big belted look down. I bought an stretchable big belt on my Sunday's excursion with Rachelle in Royal Oak.
It was actually comfortable. I didn't feel like I was going to keel over for lack of breathing!

This is my Hobo/crossbody bag that I was obsessing over since December! Wewll actually, the first one I found was $285.00 at this boutique in Ann Arbor. I found this bag (for $30.00!) at my favorite boutique in Downtown Plymouth! I love all the pockets and the fact that I could carry like a hobo or have use it like a crossbody during shopping excursions!
Well, it's a beautiful 80 degree weather day in good old Michigan, I'm going to go out and enjoy it as I venture to find lunch! Have a good weekend lovlies!

Ugh ..I hate the moving process! I will be doing it at the end of April, unfortunately. I don't think I could ever break the coffee addiction. Props to you for trying!
