Long Commute = Rediscovering old songs

So after a day of doing nothing, it was back to the daily grind at work.  Started the day with a cup of coffee (Marcin made it for us.  I keep forgetting to tell him about my coffee detox!) and a frozen waffle (not pictured because I was in a rush out the door).

I got to work and spent most of the morning sorting through e-mails and taking care of things that should have been done on Tuesday.  It was a morning of catch up!  During my catching up morning, I snacked on some Fig Newtons.
It's not a cookie, it's fruit and cake!
Before I knew it, it was lunch time.  I had brought sandwich materials from the house.  I put it together at work.
I big slice of french bread, 2 slices of salami, 2 slice of colby jack cheese, a handful of spinach.  On one slice of bread, I used the last of my cream cheese substitute, on the other side, I used hummous.

I pretty much got caught up with everything I needed to do for Tuesday and for today.  Throughout the afternoon, I snacked on some Milk Duds from Sunday's Date Night:
I had these three . . .and two more.

I also had the rest of my supply of dried apricot:
I stayed lateat work to photograph an event that we were hosting.  Dinner was provided for at the event.
 Pizza House Pizza!
I had one slice of ham and mushroom, one slice of mushroom and green pepper, and salad.

The event went off well and I got some really good shots!  After cleaning up after the event, I headed on home.  It's a 30 minute drive from Ann Arbor to Plymouth.  Typically in my morning commute, I'm listening to a morning talk show.  In my evening commute, I do A LOT channel surfing on the radio.  Sometimes I hook up my Zune player or play a CD, but there are a lot of songs that out there right now that I haven't had a chance to download to my Zune.  Anyways, I was doing my usual channel surfing and landed on Ace of Base "The Sign
Of course I rocked out to this song.

Next on my channel surfing commute home, Phil Collins "Misunderstanding."
 .
Oldies, but goodies.  Don't you like rediscovering old songs again!?  It's like finding an old toy or a pretty dress that you forget you had!

On the healthy living front:
The pizza was delicious!  I did take an extra piece in the middle of the event, but it was a small piece.  I drank peppermint tea/water throughout the rest of the day.  I used up all my lemon juice on Monday, so I couldn't continue the Hot water + lemon juice drink.  Once I go grocery shopping for some staples this weekend, I will start this drink back up again.

On the fashion front:
Wednesday's Outfit
Tan pants, green short sleeve turtle neck (another shirt from undergrad).
I still like this shirt, I think I could get one more season out of it.

On the running front:
Today is a rest day.  I was supposed to go to yoga, but couldn't because of late work night.  The plan is to run tomorrow.
