One More day . . .

. . .and it will be the weekend.  I'm excited about this weekend because it is my sister's birthday.  She will be turning 30 and Marcin and I will be taking her out!  That is of course if she's gets back to me with her restaurant of choice!  She will also be our first house guest at the casa de K.  What are your big plans for the weekend?

Breakfast:
Kept it simple today with a toasted whole wheat chocolate chip pancake and coffee (yeah, it's back on the rotation.  It's German coffee that Marcin bought at the Polish store . . . how can i resist!?).
I added Fage greek yogurt, sugar free syrup and 1/2 of a ba ba ba banana (like Cha Cha Cha Chia . . but a banana . .uh . .nevermind).

After my scrumptious breakfast, it was off to work I go.  After meeting with one of our amazing alumna who is so energetic to give back to the program, I became motivated to start the wheels going on a event that won't happen until next Fall.   It's interacting with people like her that makes me so happy to have this job.  I got to working on e-mails and planning a timeline for our event!

Next thing I knew, it's lunch!  I had brought sandwich fixings again, but decided to venture outside for lunch.  Off to Panera I go!

After walking across campus in these pretties:
I decided to try the new Cuban Chicken Panini.
It was spicy.

I'm doing a lunch post, because I will be at my apartment tonight packing, so I will have no chance to blog!  My plan for tonight:  Full body workout at the gym, light dinner, packing, Bones 100th episode (!!!) and Fringe! (maybe flipping back and forth wtih Grey's Anatomy).  Easy night right?

On the healthy living front:
Did you know that Panera has a Nutritional Calculator?  Definitely a helpful tool for those who want to make healthy choices!  The downside, you may discover that your favorites are high in calories.  For example, I L.O.V.E. Panera's soup in a breadbowl.  Calorie count for just the bowl = 590!!!  My lunch de jour = 860 Calories!  However, with the Nurtition Calculator, you can play around with the options and come up with the best substitutions for each meal!  I wish I discovered this BEFORE I had ordered!  But now I know.

On the fashion front:
Thursday's work outfit
I love this top!  I don't even know what style it is, but it is one of my favorite.  Paired with my new editor pants from Express that I need to take to the tailor again because it's almost falling off of me!  This outfit goes awesome with the shoes pictured above.  Normally, my feet would be killing me after walking across campus in them, but the are not.  I think I broke them in pretty well.

On the running front:
I may add in a run today. If not today, then definitely in the weekend.  We have a food tasting on Friday for a potential dinner rehersal place.
