Reeeeeeeewind to Thursday night.
When I got home from work, I started on three things at once. I worked out, unloaded the dishwasher, put a load of laundry in the wash, took out my spring summer clothes from storage, and packed up my heavy winter clothes . . .all at the same time! Yeah, it got to the point when I went into the kitchen for dinner, I realized that I didn't quite finish unloaded and reloading the dishwasher! When all was said and done, I got some din-din by way of leftovers
Dinner:
Leftover beef steak and quinoa with vegetable stir fry
When I finally decided to stop with the ADD chores and concentrate on one chore at a time, I pretty much got every thing done at about 8:00 PM. It was easy to pack my heavy winter clothes. It ended up being only 4 sweaters I packed! Why is it so little? Well read on to find out.
I settled down for a night of awesome T.V. viewing. Bone's 100th episode = Awesome! It explained alot about their relationship! Grey's Anatomy was a eh re-run, so I decided to focus on Fringe. Diane Kreuger had a small role in the show! It was an interesting episode . .though I'm glad that I ate dinner beforehand!
While enjoying my shows, I got a nasty craving for something sweet. I had no ice cream (Boo!) and no fruit (double Boo). However, I did find a box of chocolates that Marcin's mom gave me for christmas. I've been good and saved the dark chocolate mousse filled ones for last. I decided to break into my stash!
This was so decandant, I only had 2 and my sweet tooth was sa-tis-a-ma-fied!
After Fringe, called it a night and went sleepys!
Friday:
Despite going to bed at a reasonable hour (10:00pm) I could not wake up this morning! Needless to say, I was running late and walked out the door without any breakfast or lunch.
Breakfast:
Stopped by the friendly neighborhood Espresso Royale for my morning sustenance.
Medium skim vanilla latte and Cinnamin Coffee Cake Muffin
I only ate half of the muffim and saved the rest for later.
Today has been crazy busy with! During lunch, I actually had to run some errands. Stopped at the bank for some $$$, then I stopped at the university bookstore to see if they would take any of my books from my Master's program. It's been almost 3 years since I had these books, so I wasn't expecting them to take any of them (P.S.- I used to work at the bookstore in my undergrad, so I know how the whole system works). However, I hit pay dirt when they took 3 out of the 7 books for $47.00!! Now what to do with this new found fortune!
I didn't stop for lunch because when I got back to my office, I had a meeting and then lots of stuff still on my plate. I ate the rest of the muffin and have been going on water ever since. I know, B.A.D.!
Tonight, Marcin and I have our food tasting for a possible dinner rehearsal place = Bucca di Beppo. We had a date there once, so I know that they food will be good. I think it will come down to pricing.
On the healthy living front:
On Working Girl's blog, she had a recent post about Brown Bagging lunch. As you can see, this is something that I struggle with every week. One person who commented on this post mentioned seperate grocery shopping. I like this idea because it appeals to the lazy person. Basically, I would buy groceries specifically to take to my office kitchen so that lunch and snacks are at the ready for me. Therefore, no planning and packing the night before or the day of (i.e. - the lazy person in me). The only downside I see is that the impulsive person in me would trump the lazy person and will tempt me to go out and by lunch at a local restaurant, regardless of the fact that I have stuff at work. This happens to me at home, it's bound to happen to me at work. I get a craving for something, I will go out and get it, despite having food ready and waiting for me (either at home or at work!). Will need to think this one through before implementation.
On the fashion front:
Friday's work outfit:
Long light sweater from Express (or H&M), Lucky Brand skinny jeans, Aldo wedge boots (the cold weather came back to MI!)
So what happened to my winter wardrobe?
Basically, I went through my entire winter wardrobe once this season. After I wore something that I thought was too baggy or too ill fitting, I threw into a "To Donate" tub that has been sitting in my apartment since Christmas. When all is said and done, most of my current winter wardrobe include things that I can wear all year round, with the exception of some long sleeve light sweaters. I will need to start saving now, because come next winter, I will need to add to my wardrobe like WHOA!
On the running front:
No run, but I did walk around campus during my lunch when I was doing my errands. Let me tell you, walking around in these wedges are a workout in of itself. Plus I was lugging some heavy textbooks! I will get a run in this weekend, I will get a run in this weekend, I will get a run in this weekend!
(I am chanting that to myself in the hopes that it will become a reality!)
Happy Friday folks! Enjoy the weekend!

I need to get rid of old clothes just so I can avoid packing them. P.s. I had the same Thursday TV schedule that you did. LOL. I was so bummed to see a Grey's rerun.
@Courtney - Some clothes were easy to give up and other's were not! I hope this week's Grey's is new! Do you watch Private Practice?
