And it's Thursday

Can you get the Sunday Night blues on Thursdays?  I had a good day at work and all, but sometime in the afternoon, I just got the blues.  Just this blah feeling.  Anywho, it's time to get back to our regularly scheduled program.

Breakfast:
Coffee and Watermelon - not pictured.

E-mails, E-mails, E-mails (Man being away from work for 2 days = LOTS-O-E-MAILS!).

Lunch
Leftover BBQ - It was good, but I'm getting so sick of bbq.  I think the only thing that I finished on this plate was the corn.

Work, work, e-mails, e-mails, e-mails . . .Home.  After a quick snack of Arnold Thins and hummus, off to the gym I went hoping that a good run would get me out of my funk.  It worked.

I decided that for dinner, I wanted something NOT bbq!  First thought = Chinese.

Dinner
 Shrimp Rice Noodle Stir Fry

Terrible I know, but I was desperate.  Now, I'm realxing with a refreshing glass of
Arnold Palmer Half and Half Lite.  I swear I just had one glass.

On the healthy living front:
I'm in need of serious detox.  But I'm really not sure how to go about do it.  Maybe do a green monster detox for a weekend (Green monster for breakfast and lunch and then a light dinner ala Slimfest method)?  A week of steaming food?  I do know that we need more vegetables and fruit in the fridge so that I can play with different options.  Sigh.
On the fashion front:
Did you know that Coach partnered up with 4 blogger and they got to design their own purse!?  Oh to be in their blogger shoes - er - purse! Which ones do you like?  Personally, I liked Kelly's Drawstring Pouch.  I would have love the opportunity to design my own purse.  oooh the ideas brewing in my head as I write this!

Also, check out Fashion Meets Food's Adorable Scarves give-away!  I personally like thie Alexis Paisley Pashmina!

On the active living front:
I did my pyramid run today.  I was a little nervous since I've been focusing more on my strength training workouts lately.  It turned out to be a really good run.  I really need to up my game for the 5 mile trail run coming up!  I have a running plan somewhere on my desk.  I will be starting it next week.    Tonight, I will be doing another 10 real push ups before bed.  Oddly enough, I find that doing the push ups before bed to be very relaxing.  I've been able to fall asleep right away.
Alright friends, this girl is going to enjoy the rest of 27 Dresses that is playing on FX.

You eat salads and drink green smoothies. It's a challenge but it worked I lost weight.

Doing a few exercises before bed really does feel great, surprisingly. I've been doing crunches and its a really nice way to get my head clear. So often I went straight from computer screen to bed and that was no way to relax!

I think Gina's way (from fitnessista) to "detox" is a great way. She recommends trying to eat raw for a week..or at least eat raw up until dinner. It's hard but you do feel refreshed at the end.

I would love to design my own purse or shoes.... how neat would that be! Thanks for mentioning my giveaway, and I will totally do a detox with you! I really need to drop weight before my wedding!

I don't think detox has to be anything crazy! Just eat as clean and fresh as possible and drink lots of water. Avoid salt! PS I love those Coach bags too. Then again, I love all things Coach. :)
