4 more days . . .

. . .and I run my first trail run!  AAAAAAAAAAAH!  Ok, I'm not going to psyche myself out.  I've been training somewhat well, and I have been resting my body very well.  So I'm telling myself that the high of accomplishing this feat on my own will carry through the 5 miles of Sleep Hollow State Park.  AAAAAAAAAAAAH!  Ok, I'm done. . .really . . maybe . . .

Monday
Breakfast
I woke up late and ran out the door after grabbing random things for breakfast/lunch/ and snack!

Weight Watchers chocolate muffin - It was . . ok . . I think if I had warmed it up a bit in the microwave, it would have been a nice treat. 

I was exhausted all day at work.  Staying up till midnight was not a bright idea!  But I managed to get through the morning fine and then I had my lunch

Lunch
Continuing with the Cold Lunch Theme, I had a random hodgepodge of leftover salad fixings.

Leftover chickpeas, beets (there really is more than two slices of beets, and Balsamic Vinigrette salad dressing).  I didn't think that this will fill me up, but it did.  All it was missing was some greenage.

Work work work, some wedding planning details . . and more work.  Drove home to dinner already cooked and waiting for me!  Marcin was not feeling well on Monday so he had called in sick.  He felt better by late afternoon and decided to make dinner.

Dinner

Steamed chicken season with Sundried Tomato salad dressing and boiled potatoes with butter and parsley.

Check out our new plates and utensils (well, utensil in picture)!  My family bought our casual dish set for the bridal shower.  I'm obsessed with square plates.  Marcin's mom bought us a formal dish set!  I will post pictures of those babies when we crack them open.

We spent the rest of the evening finishing up our office.  Marcin had cleaned out all the painting supplies and stuff out of the room.  He vaccummed the floor as I cleared the rest of the boxes and books out of the room.  We moved his desk and bookshelf from our bedroom into the office.  Of course, you would expect a picture here huh . . yeah . .I forgot!  I swear after a good night's rest, I will back on my blogger game.

Did anyone else catch the Bachelorette: The Men Tell All?  I love the bloopers that they played.  I was hoping that they would play more!  Although, I think Craig The Lawyer was angling for his own show.  He pretty much dominated the commentary.  Ty held out his own too, but I'm thinking the next Bachelor will be Kirk.  He had the story and he was the one who went home when it should have been Frank!  Love it that the two people who left the show outside of a Rose ceremony were people in the Entertainment Biz - Justin the Entertainment Wrestler (Rated R for RIDICULOUS) and Frank the Screen Writer.  But I digress

Tuesday
Breakfast - Not pictured because I was once again running late.  But it was coffee and Chocolate Chip cookies from DoubleTree Hotel.  I forgot to mention this, but when we were leaving the hotel that my bridal shower was in, they gave us a tin of cookies as a thank you for having our event there!  I'm telling you these cookies are DE-LIC-IOUS!  I hearts them so!

I did pack a lunch . . and I had every intention of eating what I brought.  That's my problem with packing lunches.  80% of the time, I want to eat something else.  Like today.  I had every intention of eating my Oats in a Jar concoction that I made last night.  But what did I have instead?

At least it stayed in line with my Cold Lunch theme.  :) Ah well, at least I am set for my pre run snack.  Tonight will be my last run before my trail run.  I am scheduled to run (or walk) for 50 minutes.  Wish me luck!

On the healthy living front
Next week, I'm planning on coming up with a Clean Eating meal plan for August.  I have tomorrow off, so I'm going to do a bit of research and plan out my shopping list.  I'm hoping that this will give me a little more boost I need in the eating better.

On the fashion front
I'm getting my haircut tomorrow.  I think this is the last trim before the wedding.  I'm going to talk to my hair stylist about hairstyles for the wedding.  I had chosen one a long time ago, but now I'm having second thoughts.

On the active living front
50 minutes on the treadmill today.  Full body strength training session tomorrow.  Rest Thursday and Friday . . .Saturday = D Day!
