Buck Buck, I'm a chicken!

So Wednesday was brought to you by . . . CHICKEN!  And why do I say that?  Well that's because pretty much every meal I had yesterday involved chicken!  But first, we must round out Tuesday!

Tuesday
Lunch Part #2

Ninja Sushi roll from Sushi.com - SPICY!

After putting in more hours at work, I went home and Marcin and I went to the gym.  My goal today was strength training.  Instead of doing the entire workout, I just worked on the upperbody workouts.  I'm sort of thinking doing the full body workouts is what gets me so drained by Thursday . . so I decided to divide the upper body and the lower body into two seperate workout plans.

After the gym, we headed home to get ready for yet another Pint Night experience!

Dinner

Taco Salad - I had requested that instead of the taco shell that it comes in, to have a bed of nacho chips instead.  It was exactly what I wanted.

Wednesday
Since it was my day off, I slept in a little bit.  The original plan was to get up around the same time that I normally do and run 4 miles, but that didn't happen!  Instead, I got up at 10:30 am and got ready to meet my coworkers for lunch in Ann Arbor.

It's the Ann Arbor Art Fair this week!  Ann Arbor is crazy busy and parking is a nightmare!  Luckily for me, they provide a shuttle bus from the local mall to downtown!
Yeah, this is only a snippet of the fair!  This fair is massive!

Anyways, I met my coworkers for lunch at Chipolte.  Man was it packed.  I had my friend order for me while I grabbed a table for us before anyone else could!

Brunch

Chicken burrito . . sorry it's blurry, I had to take the picture fast!

After a great lunch and great conversations, we went off to check out the booths.  Well, more like check out one booth.  We always check out the Orchid Lane booth outside of their stores.  I was on the hunt for a new bag since my July Art Fair purse broke last week!  While they had many cute and beautiful bags, none called out to me!  Instead, I bought two of their wrap dresses that you can style into 100 different dresses!  I will post pictures soon!  I love Orchid Lane because it's a Fair-Trade clothing store.  It calls to the bohemian side of my style.  We spent quite a bit of time there. . . I'm actually thinking of stopping by again today to check out more stuff!

After checking out more booths, I took the bus back to the mall and meet up with my friend Kyle.  He works for Helzberg Diamonds, so I figure I could use his expertise on wedding bands since it's looking like Marcin and I will get seperate ones (not the same band as originally planned!).  I did find a ring that I like, but it's a bit out of our price range.  I have expensive taste!  I blame my mom!

Anyways, after ring window shopping, Kyle and I went to Max and Ermas for lunch.  Well, more like Lunch part 2 for me!  Honestly, with all the walking around and the heat, I was a little hungry when we got to the restaurant.  But, I was good and ordered a salad.

Max and Erma's Sante Fe Chicken Salad

I even took it a step further and requested for a to go box and placed half of my salad there before I started to eat!  *Pats on the back*  Go Me!

Lunch with Kyle was great!  He recently became a BeachBody Coach and has been using the P90X and Shakeology as part of his weight loss regimen.  We spent most of lunch talking about tips and tricks that we have learned in our quest for a healthy lifestyle.  I even went as far as to say that I wanted to try one of the P90X dvd's in the near future.  We would have to find a time when we are both off!  I can't wait!

I finally got my booty home and chilled for a little bit.  Then I changed clothes and got ready for Belly dancing class with my friend Tasha.  It was fun!  We did a lot of ab moves in this class and now I'm feeling it!  I had audited this class, so I'm hoping that I can attend the next round of classes once this set is done.  It was so much fun!

Went home and just threw something together for dinner with . . you guessed it, chicken!

Dinner
Leftover Sante Fe Chicken Salad with more sliced of the Beer Can chicken mixed in.  For dressing, I mixed in greek yogurt.  It tasted pretty darn good!

The funny thing is, I wasn't craving chicken yesterday.  It's just that everything I wanted involved chicken.

On the healthy front
Despite the chicken overload, I think I didn't pretty well yesterday.  I probably could have used more fruits and vegetables in the mix, but my options were a bit limited at the time.  I'm still doing the aloe vera juice everyday and I think that has been helping me as well.

On the fashion front
And this is where I suck!  I keep forgetting taking pictures!  I promise, I will take a picture of my multi-dress dress when I get home today!

On the active front
On Tuesday, I just did the upper body workouts:
Started out with 3 sets of 20 ab crunches on a reclining bench
3 sets of 15 Torso Twists with rope
3 sets of 12 Overhead Extenstion (my most difficult workout!)
3 sets of 15 Lat pull downs
3 sets of 12 chest press on balance ball

All in all good workout.

Hope everyone's Thursday is going well!  Catch you later!

A) That ninja roll looks incredible and B) good for you ordering a to-go box! I'm always too embarassed to do it right at the beginning but it's such a good technique!
