Special Post Thursday - Z-Pack + Blog Awards

So I finally broke down and went to the doctor today.  After a whole night of coughing fits, I just couldn't take it anymore.  I called in sick to work and went to the doctor's.  I have bronchitis.  The doctor said that he is seeing a lot of cases of bronchitis lately so he prescribed me Z-pack and a cough medicine (liquid . . yuck!).  I got home and took my first dose and I'm feeling about 75% better.  My coughing has greatly decreased, but now I'm just exhausted because of the lack of sleep last (I fell asleep in the doctor's office while I was waiting!).

So I'm resting up and spending QT with my DVR . . . Keep your fingers crossed that I get a good night sleep at last.

Seven Things About Myself (I'm going to try to tell you guys 7 new things about me)
1) I love Tulips.  They remind me of spring and make me smile!  Check out the tulips that my husband got me for Valentines Day this year!

2) Chinese take out and sushi are my weakness.  For most people, it's something sweet.  For me, it's a big bowl of Lo Mein or a 2 or more sushi roll!

3) I'm addicted to magazines!  I love Self, Glamour, Health, and I'm thinking of getting a subscription to Redbook!


4) I love to read serial novels.  My favorites are:

Nora Roberts - The Bride Quartet

I love reading serial books because it's fun to see the characters carry over into the next book or story!

5) My least favorite house chore to do - cleaning the toilet!  Nuff said!

6) My favorite house chore - it's sort of a tie between washing the dishes and the laundry . . . not sure why?

7) I have a irrational fear of the car wash.  I hate taking my car to the car wash and having it be controlled by a track.  I also hate the noises and the equipment that are used.  If there is a car in front or behind me, I get nervous that one of them would crash into my car.  I usually go through wash with the radio blaring and I'm singing at the top of my lungs in order not to panic!
